By installing the basic SAJ-DMS system you will benefit from the dynamic information measured by its sensors. Hydrostatic information such as current ship displacement is displayed giving the operator clear information about the ships current situation.

Because this is measured data it will be possible to detect an abnormal weight change immediately. Compared to loading computers for example that requires input and miss all unknown weights. The system is very accurate and can be used to verify cargo weight etc. For enhanced cargo handling we recommend the DWT Loading Module.

The basic systems hydrostatic information also contains other key data that can be calculated only thanks to the systems dynamic monitoring capability.

• LCB Shows the longitudinal center of buoyancy of the ship at this moment. Measured in meters aft (-) or forward (+) of midship frame.
• VCB Shows the vertical center of buoyancy of the ship at this moment. Measured in meters above baseline (B/L).
• KMT Shows the transversal metacentric height of the ship at this moment. Measured in meters above baseline (B/L).
• KML Shows the longitudinal metacentric height of the ship at this moment. Measured in meters aft (-) or forward (+) of midship frame.
• WPA Shows the water plane area for the ship at this moment. Measured in m².
• LCF Shows the longitudinal center of flotation of the ship at this moment. Measured in meters aft (-) or forward (+) of amidships frame.
• MCT Shows the moment to change trim of the ship at this moment. Measured in mTonm/cm.
• TPC Shows the change of displacement/change of centimeters draft of the ship at this moment. Measured in mTon/cm.
• Cb Shows the block coefficient of the ship at this moment.
• Cp Show the prismatic coefficient of the ship at this moment.
